How to Use

The most effective way to use oil is AFTER you apply your moisturizer. Why? Because if you apply the oil before the moisturizer, you’re preventing the moisturizer from penetrating into the skin cells because it can’t pass through the oil. But if you apply the moisturizer first and then pat the oil on top, the oil creates a moisture barrier, sealing the moisturizer into the skin and preventing the air from making it dissipate.

What It is:

The 24kt Liquid Gold Face oil balances serum production. For oily skin, it tricks the skin into thinking it is perfectly hydrated and to stop producing excess sebum. For dry skin, it imparts needed hydration.

Why I Developed It:

I suffer from cystic acne. As a result, I have spent most of my life running away from oil However, what we are doing tricking our body into thinking that it is dehydrated and triggering it to produce even more oil. Adding oil to your skin regimen will calm down oil production by providing needed hydration.

For those with dry skin (alas I am not one of them), oil provides additional and much needed hydration.

How To Apply

For best results, please use every day, twice a day.

TOOLS:

• Your Favorite Moisturizer — I use the Rejuvenating Day Cream both AM/PM but for those desiring greater hydration, you might want to use the Restoring Night Cream.
• Facial Oil — I then apply our 24kt Liquid Gold Face Oil

STEPS:

1. Apply a pea-size amount of the moisturizer to the back of your hand.
2. Spread the moisturizer evenly all over your face
3. SHAKE WELL. Apply a couple drops of the facial oil to the back of your hand
4. Pat the oil all over your face. Patting places the oil on top of the moisturizer instead of rubbing and smearing them together.

Brand Story

A Hike, a Hatchery and Hands.

Founder, Patti Pao discovered the greatest ingredient she has seen in her 30+beauty career. She toured a salmon hatchery in Western Norway (Bergen) to get out of a three-day hike. While watching the fish hatch, she noticed that the skin on the workers’ hands, which were submerged in the hatching water, looked twenty years younger than the skin on their faces.

The reason was due to an enzyme that the salmon release in order to get out of their eggshell. When this enzyme comes into contact with human skin, it is unique in that it is the only molecule that only dissolves the dead skin cells. The workers’ hands looked youthful because the skin on their hands was receiving continuous exfoliation but without any irritation; no thinning skin, no redness, no sun sensitivity.

The enzyme is cruelty-free. No animals or fish were harmed in the extraction of the enzyme. At the end of the hatching cycle, the water is gathered and the enzyme is filtered from the hatching water.
